Materials of Happenstance
Lorem Ipsum
My artistic process is rooted in the transformation of discarded materials through the application of molten wax. By coating flexible materials until their original form becomes unrecognizable, I invite intrigue and curiosity into the artistic experience. Through this process, I embrace the element of happenstance, allowing for unexpected outcomes to emerge.
Once the wax-coated materials have been transformed, I take them a step further by casting them in bronze. This transformation adds permanence and solidity to the once flexible and malleable materials. The resulting sculptures embody a profound sense of metamorphosis, inviting viewers to reflect on the transformative power of art.

By embracing happenstance in my creative process, I relinquish some control over the final outcome. This element of chance allows for unforeseen textures, shapes, and details to emerge, creating a sense of depth and complexity within each artwork. I believe that these spontaneous elements add a certain level of authenticity and vibrancy to the finished pieces.
Through the use of discarded materials and the transformative qualities of wax and bronze, I hope to engage viewers in a dialogue about the inherent value and potential in overlooked objects. By repurposing these materials, I aim to encourage a reconsideration of notions of beauty, worth, and sustainability.
Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to evoke a sense of wonder, curiosity, and introspection through my work. By embracing happenstance, I invite viewers to reinterpret the world around them and to find inspiration in unexpected places. I hope to inspire a greater appreciation for the transformative qualities of art and the unlimited potential that lies within the discarded and overlooked.
